not long after the last dinner but this one is a BLUE MOON (two full moons in one month)

Also i need to think of what it will be and all the details...

It will take place 5/31 which is a sunday and the last day of me and jimmys lease so i am thinking we will be busy lol but i want to have it at our new apt maybe in the backyard or in palmer park.

Also I need to think about how it will tie into the Winter Solstice dinner. (which uses each full moon dinner to use for each dish in the multicourse meal) (and it has a theme this time)

So far it is this

1. Creation of the universe

• FMD: Chicken Dumpling soup
• Solstice course: Mini chicken pot pies

2. Creation of the solar system

• FMD: Dim Sum
• Solstice course: Dumpling series

3. Water on Earth

• FMD: Jimmys Georgian stew / I was in Caribbean
• Solstice course: Agar water ball (lemon?) and earth sauce

4. Primordial Soup / Origin of life

• FMD: Szechuan: Mapu tofu & Twice cooked pork
• Solstice course: Bubbling Hot Mapu tofu

5. Multicellularity

• FMD: Sushi
• Solstice course: Sushi Series

6. Life on Land/Departure from Water

• FMD: TBD
• Solstice course: TBD

We dont have a fish course yet (not counting sushi) so maybe this could be the fish course. I also want to have it be some kind of outdoor picnic kind of vibe because spring is going to be in full swing and almost summer. Also last dinner was smaller it could be nice if this is bigger. Hmmm but how could it be a big meal that is fish. Hmm i would like to cook in the fire too somehow... but also the next course is fire and early humans so maybe that would fit better for a fire pit dinner. Maybe more like ceviche then...maybe like latin american cuisine.

It is this sunday! I have decided to do

• Ceviche
• Fried Plantains
• Rice and beans
• Fish tacos
• Hibiscus tea

I am going to also make a salsa verde and escabeche for toppings.

Should be fun! Going to prep most of it at the new apt! planning also on on having roasted fish on the table for people to pick apart for the fish tacos.
